Visa Application

The first step is to determine which category visa or residence permit you need, and check whether you’re eligible to apply for it. You will also need to know the documents that you will have to submit along with your application, how long the application might take and fees you will have to pay. Each application must comply with the guidelines applicable to your visa or residence permit category.

On the Royal Norwegian Embassy website you will find guidelines about the application process and how to register your application online. You may also visit www.udi.no where applicant will be directed to the correct application. Your sponsor in Norway can also register the application online on your behalf. When submitting an application at a Norwegian Visa Application Centre, online payments can be made by using a credit/debit card (MasterCard or Visa). Applications for visitor’s visas and residence permits for Norway are handled by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in China. To submit your application, please go to VFS Global Application Centre. According to the Personal Information Protection Law, VFS Global must obtain your consent to process your personal data before proceeding with your visa application. Please download, print, complete, sign and bring the consent form along with your visa application form when you visit the Visa Application Centre.

Invitation Letters 

1. The invitation letter will be issued after the successful registration.
2. Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa.
3. Please note CCCE Conference and the organizing committees of the conference are not authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the Notification of Invitation Letter issued by CCCE Conferences and conference Committee Board. Should your application be denied, CCCE Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will CCCE Conferences and the organizing committee of the conference engage in discussion or correspondence with the MOFA or the Embassy on behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot be refunded when the VISA application of individual being denied.
4. It takes around one month for the Embassy to process the VISA application, please register as early as you can to make sure you have enough time.
